Coming this June and July:
a month-long virtual piano summer camp from the comfort and safety of your own home.

We know you may not be ready to send your kid to a summer camp where social distancing is not an option. But you still want them to be engaged, have fun, and learn new things during those summer months.
My Munchkin Music, with local music teacher Ms. Tania, will be offering an accelerated online group piano for beginners ages 8-11. Your kids will gain an understanding of music theory basics and learn how to play the piano, all in a stimulating and fun digital format.
June Beginner Piano Camp
The first camp will run for 4 weeks from June 1 through June 25 at 11 a.m., every Monday through Thursday, and there will be an optional video recital following the camp. The group instructional portion is 40 minutes.
The pace of the class will be customized to the registered group and the goal is to complete the entire Primer book in one month. Books will be purchased by each family online. A piano or keyboard at home is required.

Classes will run through Zoom and will be password and waiting room protected.
Although we support each student’s individuality, in order to run an efficient camp, students will be given guidelines for conduct during class as well as online safety reminders. We will also engage in short brain breaks with gross motor activity and will promote a positive growth mindset.
The June Beginner Piano Camp is $250 for one student plus the cost of books (approximately $12). Classes will be recorded and shared only with other students in case of an absence.
July Intermediate Piano Camp
The second camp will run for 4 weeks from July 6 through July 30 at 11 a.m., every Monday through Thursday, and there will be another optional video recital following the camp. The group instructional portion is 40 minutes.

The July Intermediate Piano Camp is for children 8-11 with some piano experience or those who have just completed the June Beginner Piano Camp.
